You do realize JJ Abrams was involved in Justin Lin’s Beyond right? He produced it. Just like he’s doing with this one. So this is the exact set up as Beyond - no need for your hateboner for JJ Abrams to rise up.

I don’t think this rumor holds much water, but had to drop in and call you remiss for not referencing the absolute tear jerker/glee inducer that was Tom Baker’s return in the 50th anniversary “in years to come you might find yourself revisiting a few, but just the old favorites”

Lots of great ones already listed... Robotech, Cowboy Bebop, TNG, DS9, GoT (even if the show lost me in season 5), but one of my absolute favs, just the coolest theme song is Bojack Horseman. The fact that they updated the intro as the characters’ situations was just icing.

For newer series, I quite like Doom Patrol.

I’ve seen this show all the way through about five times now and still love this opening. I still feel the need every time to yell the “HUH!” right as the flash-forwards kick in at 0:38. 

This, for the music. It saddens me that there isn’t a longer, much longer official version of the music.

Not to rank Star Trek intros (they’re all great in their own way), but personally I prefer Voyager’s to DS9. And yeah... The Lower Decks intro is certainly near the top.

I loved The Expanse’s opening and how it frequently changed to match the story.  My favorite little detail was how the initial image of Mars changed from two moons to a moon and a trail of rubble after the UN strike.
