Huh, really?!? I guess I should study the Rules and Regulations of the new era before complaining

Aaahh...Hudson!...Back when we were playing Traveller RPG we had this guy who would name all his characters 'Hudson', in Hudson's honor. He would get himself killed every single campaign we played so he went through a lot of them, too.

See, this is where in the olden days, before the great redesign, I would have heart-clicked

The worst logo in history is still the one for the 2012 London Olympics. No idea what its jingle is, but it is so unbelievably bad that I find it only fitting that apparently is is capable of triggering seizures

Yes, on the concept of not trying to hit directly; but the debris created by the bursting shells consists of sharp-edged chunks of steel flying at the speed of sound, not bomblets dangling from little parachutes drifting in the wind. So similar general concept but much different execution.

So there are no living relatives of her? Actually, dead relatives would do fine, too, if you could get an exhumation order signed. Either would be a good source of DNA to ascertain relatedness to the person from whom the bone fragment came, even if they are distant relatives.

Does he show how to dissect out the tear glands of unicorns?

Wait, what, with the new io9 format I can't upload images any longer, just image URLs? Please tell me that that's not true...?

That would have been a pleasant surprise indeed.

Welcome to io9

No, this device here is for the tuna, this way they'll finally stand a chance

What sound does it make when fired?
