i don't know if there's some stabilization built in to the camera app but i take a lot of photos for insurance companies with my iphone (4) and i haven't had any come out blurry using the volume button. i probably use it different than most because i use my thumb with the button on the bottom.

Dude, where might one procure such a delicacy as hippo asshole? I love to try new and exotic meats when I grill...

Considering most meats don't need to be heated up to more than 180 deg (internal temp), why in the hell do you need to heat a grill up to higher than 500? Now with fish, I try and get the heat up to around 750 but all I'm doing is searing it.

i don't know how i feel about the grill surface. angle iron turned up like that seems like a pain to clean. since i got the ceramic coated cast steel grills for my outfit, i can't see using anything else for a while. it's so easy to clean, heats fast and my meat doesn't stick to it.

day 3, 4 & 5 are flat, boring stretches of sleep inducing highway...

Exactly. Here in the south, it would be a breeding ground for mosquitos. I imagine the glass/plastic/rubber neck and carafe would get funky pretty quick...
