Yeah I had 5 games in my reply originally haha. I double checked, and saw that it was even more pathetic.

Actually, there weren't.
Yeah, 3 games that no one can name off the top of their head. And even fewer who actually bought any of them. I'd say the New 3DS is more like the Gameboy Colour. I think the name Super 3DS would have worked better, partially because it's just a better name, but mostly because we don't even know what the true…
Wait... you're a big fan of Mario Kart 8 and you hadn't realized that the Nintendo just made the 3 laps of rainbow road 1 lap of the entire course?
My favourite part is when the banner asks the viewer if they are a Tactical Mastermind, then the video proceeds draw a series of lines that range from curved, through a hole in a wall, straight through a hole in a wall, to slightly curved, around a wall to things not protected by walls.
Apparently being a tactical…
Personally, I think the only thing wrong with Origin is that it hasn't been around as long as Steam, and doesn't have as ridiculous sales, so people's libraries aren't as massive.
Pretty much any 3D game from that era looks like balls now. Low resolution textures and low polygon models are not visually pleasing. Not when you're aiming for realism anyways.
I think you're wrong to an extent. 3D N64 games hold up better than a lot of other early 3D games from the era. I mean they definitely don't look great by any definition of the word, and (I fucking hope) you'll never see people making "retro" games aping the low polygon and awful textures from the era, not like pixel…
Didn't Super Mario 64 get released before Croc though? I mean, yeah the idea was definitely influenced by the pitch Argonaut gave Nintendo for what eventually turned into Croc, but I'm doubtful that there was even enough in that pitch to build the foundations of Super Mario 64.
Honestly, I think it had nothing to do with the story elements in the ending, but more to do with essentially telling players that all the bullshit Bioware said about the series was a lie. It never mattered what you decided to do with the Geth or the Krogans or whoever. Every decision you made up until that point was…
I totally disagree. No decision is beyond criticism, no matter who made it. Creatives who stop being questioned or challenged quickly lose their edge.
That's what happens when you spend $400 - $500 on outdated hardware that cannot be updated. If you're buying a console and don't expect this kind of thing, then you are delusional. It's going to be hilarious in a few years when 4K starts becoming standard, while the current generation of consoles still struggles to…
I don't think repeatedly using Eli as a Macguffin for story progress is that big of a sin. It certainly wasn't something I was worried about while playing the game. Eli represented hope and sanctuary, and constantly keeping that out of the player's grasp is what drives the pace of the game. Even ravenholm was about…
I'm curious about these 10,000 words, because I enjoyed my time with it, and I know a lot of other people did too. It certainly doesn't live up to the scores it received at the time, but taking into account what Valve was trying to do, and what else was coming out at the time, I think they were very successful.
I've never had a pause last long enough to even get away from my computer before it counts down back into the game.
Was it really that bad? I mean, it has not aged very well, and I definitely do not believe that it ever really deserved to be on this list, seeing as Call of Duty 4 and Bioshock (Original) were both much better games. But at the time it was a brief breath of fresh air, and I believe that Episode 2 (and the whole…
There's probably more skill in completing these exploits and glitches than there is in completing the game without any glitches or exploits. Many of these things require frame perfect timing, perfect positioning and flawless button combos, not to mention memorizing the entire path for the run.
Yeah it's a GBA title. You can probably find it for pretty cheap these days.
Basically Blue is the same game with a slightly different line up of Pokémon. Some of the Pokémon aren't in red, some of them aren't in blue. It was done to encourage trading with your friends to collect all of them.
Yeah there's something so great about that style that I can't put my finger on. It's probably pure nostalgia talking.
