This is true, but I don't care. Skyrim is some of the best worldbuilding I have ever seen. Incredibly immersive, beautiful, a world that feels like it mostly exists around you and you're just along for the ride, a ride in which you can't ever do everything. You choose a life in Skyrim and live it, and then you do it

And also it's the best, or at least the coolest, game in several years. I don't know if I've ever been so emotionally invested in a game before.

But they also said months/years ago that they wanted to do a big multipart episode timed for when the game comes out.

I'm a die hard Nintendo guy and have been following Wii U and TW101 for ages and I honestly can't wrap my head around it. I haven't played it, but from the gameplay, the trailers, the concept.. I just don't get it.

Zelda Wii U, Mario 3D World, Ass Creed 4 Wii U. A self-birthday present. Only got a good deal on Ass Creed. Totally worth it anyway!

How is it that Nintendo games are so small? Even Mario 3D World is less than 2 GB.

I feel like the only one that got any attention was Pushmo, which was OK because Pushmo was totally the best of them. But still, they all got less attention than they should have. I guess Mutant Mudds got a lot of attention too.

That did sort of sound like you were expecting an announcement but didn't get one, rather than that you already knew.

I called up my old contacts at Spike (... why do I have contacts at Spike *sigh*...) and they said

Isn't that TV show basically your day job?

I played it in an office where every one of us had a 3DS and we all sat around a common table. It's really, really fun once everyone is a high level and you're StreetPassing the same people every day. Now I just play with cats and randoms from the mean New York streets and it's not nearly as satisfying.

That game got, like, less than no attention, which is really too bad. Really had the feel of someone's passion project that turned out really well.

Dammit why won't Pikmin 3 ever go on sale?? It's a stickier price than Mario 3D World and that came out only two weeks ago!

At first I thought this was really mean of Jason, then I saw it was Fahey, so it's all good!

The gold Wii Remote Plus that went out with Skyward Sword's limited edition is very classy, if you can track it down!

This was all I needed to convince me, somehow. Even though I think it's half a joke, or a comment from one of Sauron's minions. Either way, it was enough.

Guys, I need help.

I mean, it's not a JRPG by any stretch of the imagination, but I feel like that was the pitch or at least the buzz when Shadow of the Colossus first came out. A game that is ONLY boss fights? Revolutionary.

While I'm not so sure about F2P being an industry deathknell or conqueror for anything besides the mobile space, I do agree that nobody is the good guy. With very few exceptions, everybody in the space at any size is trying to grab a big chunk of money and then skim a little more off the top. Some handle it better

Was XBO getting better reviews? I only read a few and PS4 seemed to have the edge in a sea of general indifference. But I didn't really study it closely. Is that the viewpoint of the world/industry media at large?
