I remember watching that show! Man it would have been even better with Jon Hamm on it . . .

I think from the articles she does present as having a pretty classic personality disorder symptoms - all of the lying about her past, the desire to be a “victim” etc. She may or may not have mental illness, but I don’t think it’s crazy to come away from this story thinking she does.
You can have Maternit21 at 10 weeks. And as other commenters said you can pick the sex of the embryo with IVF.
I opened her cookbook once when I saw it at someone’s house and there was an entire recipe devoted to “the perfect baked sweet potato.” Ingredients: one sweet potato. Instructions: turn on your oven. Bake it.
I appreciate that there are other “that guys” out there. We have a heavy load to lift around these parts.
It has to be possible because it happened to me too.
The first time Heaven was on Ellen in 2013 I thought “oh, she just turned three, my daughter is only 2.5, I guess kids gain a lot of coordination and focus in those six months.” It’s now a year and a half later and . . . nope.
I’m wondering if you’re my sister . . . was the only entertainment during time out the random globe in the dining room? Did you become really good at Carmen Sandiego as a result?
Seriously, the "art" is killing me!! How does my 3.5 year old generate 20+ pieces of scribbled on paper a day? My recycling bin can't handle it all.
Certain crimes require specific intent, meaning you have to form the intent to do the act. For example, larceny can be defined as taking someone's property with the intent to deprive them of it. So if you are super drunk, and you take something that is someone else's and you don't realize it's theirs and don't form…
Well there goes my faith in psychic/customer confidentiality . . .
I totally disagree with you, I think these are so great and not at all scary - they weren't around with my first pregnancy and I had an amnio because I knew I would terminate if there were severe chromosomal abnormalities. With my second pregnancy I got to just do the Maternit21 and when that came back clear I was…
Voluntary intoxication can be a defense to specific intent crimes - it can negate the specific intent element. So if you have a crime like larceny, which is defined as the unlawful taking and carrying away of the property of another with the intent to steal it, and you are so drunk that you can't form an intent to…
Pinkalicious is the worst. Luckily my three year old recently grew out of me having to read it every day (with all the words changed so she wouldn't realize that some people thought vegetables aren't good).
I do this too, although somehow my 3 year old still requests oatmeal with 2 different kinds of fruit or eggs and toast most mornings (she also wants the muffin, that kid can eat more breakfast than anyone I know and clearly I have been too indulgent in catering to her breakfast desires). I use this infinitely…
I am a lawyer so I will help you out: it does not. Assault is putting someone in fear of imminent physical harm, depending on the state it may require the intent to cause injury (essentially an attempted battery). I'm not trying to be snarky, but google really can be your friend for simple things like this.

You know this ruling wasn't by SCOTUS, right? It was by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. And . . . read all the above grey comments about why Callie's article bears zero resemblance to what the holding actually said/what the law permits.
As with most jez articles about legal developments, this one is entirely inaccurate and misleading. Can't jez get a law student or something to write these posts?
Seriously - I just found a piece of purple glitter on my 9 week old's face. The offending art project came home with big sister from preschool about 6 weeks ago and was trashed as soon as she forgot about its existence (approximately 2 hours after she brought it home).
