. . .And they were always topped with hamburger instead of pepperoni.

Sure I "still" use my tablet! I've always been more of a desktop kind of a person, but I use my tablet every day in some kind of capacity. I use it as a reader and a quick internet device as well as a few other uses. It's a regular part of my technology entourage.

I do this, and it works.

Didn't work for me at all. It looks like all it did was throw out guesses. It'll only work if you tell it what email address you're looking for. . .no magic there.

When I have to work on a Win 8 computer, I use the keyboard commands for these Mystery Meat options.

Read Aloud to them. It will widen their vocabulary considerably, get them used to various kinds of vocabulary, and create a cozy time, as well.

Love the squids, and I've been known to tote them when the occasion is right, but I carry a 4 plug, 3 prong with me at all times. It's much smaller.

I like Llama, but I wish it was more based on actual location than cell towers.

Or stove pellets. Same stuff. Very effective at odor control, and cheap!

Been shopping at Newegg for a long time. Ever since before CompUSA went bust. I'd never heard of NCIX until just now, but will put it on my radar, and finally bought into Amazon Prime. In any case, it all has to be mail order since there are no geek paradises locally.

Put a few cups into the litter box, spray it 10-15 times to start pellet disintigration, and it will all turn into fluffy cat litter that kills odors after the cats use the box a few times. Pellets are exceptionally cheap, and it turned out that we

Yes!! My DH was hung up on Safeguard soap, and I only bought what was cheap for myself. One day, I learned how to make soap, and it was like trying crack for the first time - I was totally hooked!! Even Mr. Safeguard became a believer! I've been making my own soap now for about 10 years, and we each have our

Yeah, if you can find really good cookware at a yearsale, it's a great deal!

Cookware. Using really good cookware will improve your cooking immensely. Using el cheapo cookware obtained at the dollar store or grocery store for ten cents a pot (with minimum purchase) is a recipe for disaster. Save up your money and buy the best you can afford - it will last a lifetime, and encourage you to cook

Although I'm a woman, I come to Lifehacker to read about geek stuff, because I'm a geek: computers, software, Lifehacker Software packs, How I Work, employment tips, Lifehacker University, an occasional food topic, etc. I've been following Lifehacker for years, and most of the time, you guys ("you guys" is the

I really like to use a stylus with my phone. My first smartphone was a Treo, which came with a stylus. The Note is just too big for my hand, but I'd love for a pin-point stylus to be built into some of the smaller phones.
