You may want to eat at home or hire a personal chef. . .

You may just like your coffee strong. Toddy comes with dilution ratios and all that, but if my mom was drinking it, she'd drink it straight. Her percolated coffee was strong enough to need to cut it with scissors out of the pot! ;-)

Making cold brewed coffee using a Toddy is made in 7 cup batches. You'll make the coffee and store it in the fridge. When you want coffee, you'll measure out your coffee concentrate and pour hot water over it to heat it up and dilute it to taste.

Me too! I've been using a Toddy and an electric kettle to heat my water. Making a cup is now very fast, once the coffee is brewed, and every cup has a consistent taste.

I've been answering the phone, but do not say "hello". I wait 2-3 seconds after I answer, and then hang up. I've found that my spam calls have gone waaaay down.

I will admit that my current smartphone is far and away better than some of the desktop computers I have had in the past. In fact, my little Rasberry Pi blows my first computer waaaaay out of the water, so small computing devices can do big things.

Another good time to check out a prospective location is between 3pm and 6pm. People in the neighborhood/complex are starting to get home, kids are getting home, and you see how the neighborhood really lives.

What kind of baggies do you use? I can't think of any that would be small enough.

Local stations can now be had over the air with the right antenna. You could mention that it might be worth trying.

Thomas Chadwick shares a tiny tip for tea drinkers:

I just got an electric kettle. Love it! I make cold brewed coffee, which I make ahead and keep in the fridge. By the time I set up my cup, the water is hot and ready to pour!

How about taking four crayons, and putting a rolled up strip of cloth down the middle for a wick. Light the cloth and let the wax melt into the crevice so it will hold together while it burns.

I bought a cast iron pizza pan and it has been doing a pretty good job.

I would strongly discourage anyone from using flour to put out a fire. It's more likely to provide more combustable materials, and the flour that suspends in the air can ignite and explode.

My DH was self employed for years, and the only "vacation" we got was Christmas and Thanksgiving, and that was only because he was in construction and no one wanted him banging on their house on these days. It wasn't until he switched jobs that he got basic national holidays off.

I had the same question.

I prefer Google Maps on my smartphone for many reasons. First, it's a given that I'll take my phone with me when I leave the car. I don't like the idea of leaving a GPS Nav in the car or needing to unattach it and hide it at every stop. Even if it's built into the dash, it's a theft magnet. Second, I'm better with

Traditionally, it's assumed that a man would have a wife/mother of the child to pick up any slack. Yes, I know there are single fathers out there, but this is still the presumed position.

We have 2 of these, and we love them! Depending on what you pack, you could easily feed up to 4 people with these 2 containers. When only planning on one person per, it offers options for wonderful variety. Makes eating a packed lunch much more interesting. They're easy to carry, too.
