I agree with you. If all of the potential computer users in a household want/need lots of computer time, the only answer is more computers. If, say there are 4 people in the house, and only 2 of them are avid users, then, you might be able to get by with one computer, but it would still be hard.
Back when TOS aired, it was the latest thing. Few shows had such a mix of different (human) races. The ideas behind the technology were brand-new and actually gave real science ideas on what to make in the future. Hard core Trekkies (or Trekkers, as they later became known), were born from this series.
In my town, you really need a car, especially if you're female. Public transportation is deplorable, and taxis here have some of the highest rates in the US.
I cup my hand over my mouth to reduce the ambient noise going into the phone, too. That means that I can speak somewhat more softly as well.
It wouldn't accept my GV number.
No, it's not. It's a geek website, and there ARE girl geeks.
Yep. Pretty much 24/7/365, except for electrical storms, update reboots and occasional mechanic work. I run linux, so I have fewer problems with my machines wanting rebooting just for the heck of it.
I use Nevernote to sync with Evernote on linux.
Make your own coffee and get a thermos mug. Buy a french press for your office if necessary. If it's soda for you, keep a sixpack in the fridge, and avoid the vending machines
I agree with you. I've made pancakes 5 days a week for years, and I hardly have to even wake up to do it. I do make batches of stuff and freeze for later, but pancakes would never be one of those things.
ROTFLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!
Hey, I told my own brother he couldn't stay with us, so don't feel so bad. That "just till they find a place for him" will likely turn out to be years or at least many months, and then you won't be able to get him to move out.
I use QR encoder, a command line QR creator.
I have my QR code on the back.
Being "let go" is only a euphemism for being "fired". It's the exact same thing.
*blush* I didn't know you could switch apps by a long press on the home button. Thanks for mentioning it.
Wow! I don't know if I have that much psychological influence over my friends.
I still have my unlimited plan (and am holding on for dear life).
