Different worms have different habits, but the redworm will generally stay where there is food. Some will wander off when it rains, if they're not enclosed, but the great bulk of them will stay near the food. In addition, they will not cross a large, dry expanse. It's not like they're going to eat your house down to a

I've been vermicomposting for more than 20 years. I started from a mere 200 worms and slowly built up the herd until I now have several hundred thousand worms - I'm pretty sure I'm close to a million worms. We have dropped our garbage output more than half, and once a year or so, I sell a few pounds so that my bins

I cannot wrap my head around the concept of baked avocados. That's just wrong!

Similar Diet Pepsi fiend here, as well. I cut down from a 24oz to a 12 oz per day. but haven't kicked it yet. I blame my time in Fast Food when I had access to it every day.

I've made my own. I have 3-4 pages with sections of links to what I use each day.

I agree. I've been the 3rd person more than once.

I use those sandwich wrap papers, too! They're ever so handy to keep small messes contained. A box lasts "forever".

I've been throwing my microfiber cloths in the wash with the rest of the stuff. It comes out like new.

+1. My favorite method.

I love Evolution for linux. Started using it when I first tried linux, and am still using it. I have switched the parents over to Evolution for Windows, though.

The Japanese have already pretty much figured this out with furoshiki. There are many ways to take a square piece of fabric and nicely wrap (or even create a bag for) any kind of gift.

@patdavid: Nice Tutorials

Once I really needed something from a department store, some widget I can't remember the identity of now. It was during Christmas season. I couldn't find a parking place. Every parking place in the lot was full, and many, many cars trolling for a spot. I went home without my widget, and just did without. There was no
