You like Houston over Dallas?

In theory the sky is the limit (lol) in terms of how sophisticated the physics powered by something like this could be, so it could definitely go far beyond what any PC is capable of right now.
My only problem with this is what happens if your internet is down? Do we suffer performance wise as the console has to process more or do we lose what the external server does entirely meaning we may have games that when played offline AI doesn't work if it runs via the cloud.
Because quarter circle forward + punch obviously, duh.
I believe the daughter just built the diorama of the solar system. He brought in the Oculus Rift of Titans in Space to show the kids the VR equivalent of what she built.
Yep, and those people were wrong. I just think people need to try it before deciding its a fad that will die like the Wii. I thought the Wii motion controls were going to be awesome, but then I tried it out, and quickly decided it was not "the future."
By your own logic, the Rift is aimed at a subset of a subset of a subset as well. PC Owners > Rich PC Owners > People who want VR. I guess no one will develop for it, and no one will buy it as well?
Yes, language is arbitrary, but that view isn't understood well enough by everyone. Prescribing meaning / describing meaning is a continual process. A car itself isn't necessarily a car. It could have been called anything. But it wasn't. And now, "car" means that thing you drive. Calling it a car is a matter of…
So now we live in a world where it's OK to be an asshole because if your douchebaggery is a problem for someone, they're just being overly sensitive?
I'm with you. I didn't like this post. While I know some found it entertaining, it felt mean-spirited to me.
I hope they get Mark Hamill in a guest role at some point...
This is a really fucking shitty (HERP DERP PUN) thing to do, and it's a shitty thing to post. I think we've all had wardrobe malfunctions from time to time, and I would hope we could do so without the expectation that we're going to end up as the fodder for some jerkoff's Reddit post.
I'm really hoping we get some more posts like this on Kotaku. We clearly need more geeks to help perpetuate negative stereotypes and promote online shaming. We should get you down to PAX East and do a whole series of posts shaming people based on a combination of interests and stereotypes.
I mean, if you assembled…
Respect, female attention, and the ability to play Huey Lewis and The News songs on piano. Yes, these are three…
Or they could just start playing video games!
Nope. I still have my ROMS, emulators, and a number of choice OUYA games that are SUPER portable to bring anywhere that has power and a TV. I'm still happy with my purchase.
because u can see inside it with the duct tape on it right?
It's not just business reasons. It's story continuity. Between the movie, comic book and video game, it helps people understand where this is coming from.
It's honestly not worth it. They somehow made Gotham smaller than Arkham City. It was alright, pretty much the same as before really, just with more crashes.
That’s a bit of a role reversal. Usually it's a dick running his Ford into a fire hydrant. Either way you’re probably looking at a bumper with a little crack in it.
