OK...

So you're admitting that piracy is theft, you are just saying that it's OK to steal from someone if they can afford to lose it.

That's a straw man argument though. If you weren't going to buy it anyway, then don't pirate it. Once you circumvented the agreement to buy a license in order to use that good, you went from 'potential' to 'definite'.

Yeah, and Pocahontas and John Smith were in live!

Not retyping, just gonna copy/paste.

When you torrent something you ARE depriving the developer of the money they should have made on the sale. They have developed a digital good and you are not allowed to use it without purchasing a license from the developer. You have found a way to use their good without purchasing the license. You have deprived them

Peter Pan...but I don't know why he has pointy elf ears, Pan was human.

Uhh yeah, that's pretty much the point. You can't wait a day or two for reviews from people you trust?

Lol, there's always one of you guys that has to show you don't understand what 'theft' means.

"Slippery slopes aren't valid."

Went through something similar in college when a hard drive failure lost all my code work. Had a professor (who refused to extend my final due date) tell me something that I still tell new people to this day:

Yes, yes you are.

"Am I the only one who didn't think this was that bad of an idea?"

I'm gonna paste in my comment on another article to give you an idea of what I see VR being capable of.

But wouldn't those also just be high-res versions of existing games? In your own words: "Nothing innovative whatsoever"?

Umm...matte finish?

Wait, are you actually saying that you refuse to acknowledge these games because they are part of an existing genre? Do you really think that Sony is just going to invent a new genre of games just for VR? What would that even be?

People that use the term 'vocal minority' are morons.

It's a two-sided issue the same as race is a two sided issue. Either you believe that everyone deserves equal treatment or you're a bigot. Choose your side.

I was just pointing out that you said Steam should be held responsible when it's actually the developer that should be held responsible BY Steam, which is what's actually happening.
