Holy crap, this should be made into a separate post or something. It's gold. I have been in a few abusive relationships where I was depressed, was kind of repulsed/not attracted to the guy, etc. and would stay because of this mindset.

Yeah, honestly the more I read, and see the rare dates, and lack of PDA, I think this guy isn't worth it. I had a high school bf who didn't like public and private affection, and it made me feel awful and unwanted. I was settling for him, ultimately, but of course he got upset when I broke it off...
