Having seen all the advice to renew early, I sent in my passport the last week of July (it didn’t expire until Februray, 2021, but hey - where am I going to travel in the meantime?). I tracked it through the website and the day after they acknowledged receiving it I was told I was approved. The next day I got an email

I am so glad you said this. I used to have a friendship with a lady who is a Trump fanatic, and she would always defend him and other Republicans with “whataboutism.” And, like you, I would say fine, that person should be held to the same standards.

Hi, Democratic voter here. Feeling pretty comfortable with my stance of “launch all child abusers into the sun

I have had similar conversations with conservative family members regarding multiple subjects. Every time they pull the “yeah but [insert criminal/corrupt/sleazy Democrat or liberal here] did something just as serious” I tell them good, then prosecute that person too.

Before we hear any of the greys talk about how this is ruining those Dems with the ramifications of Clinton....

This is your takeaway from what you just read?

I mean, it could be both.

It’s not like other small businesses could’ve benefitted from such a generous loan or anything...

This particular book is by Trump’s former fixer and current prisoner No. 7779311, Michael Cohen

As someone who is allergic to grass (seriously), I second this. Give me a gravel pathway winding between massive flower beds any day (also, I’m allergic to pollen. I hate going outside).

For God’s same: Stop with the flushable wipes! You think your house is messy now? Try messy & stinking like your whole family’s shit AND all the prior owners’ shit with an inch of backed up sewage in your basement (or crawlspace or backyard where the sewage pipe bursts!) because it may take a while for those wipes to

Or had a land lady harass you for some stupid shit. What pushed me over the edge to buy a house was that my last land lady was like if you had a disapproving mother in law who was also a slum lord. Like you can either not fix shit or complain, not both.  Lady flew in 3 states over to do a home inspection like every 3

I stayed in my first home 11 years and plan on staying in this one at least another decade. I like the mundanities of home ownership such as yardwork, minor home repairs, deciding how to remodel the bathroom, etc. I also don’t have children, which makes a huge difference.

Beats renting economically if you stay in one place for a long time.  Also, the ability to do (almost) anything you want to your home without getting approval is nice.  Not having a landlord when things break is something of a mixed blessing.

Those wipes aren’t flushable, no matter what they say. Flush enough of them and you can add AND HOLY JESUS PLUMBERS COST MORE THAN A CAR TO CLEAR MY CLOGGED DRAINAGE PIPES to your list.

THE DISTANCE BETWEEN HABITABLE AND HOARDERS IS JUST ONE WEEKEND

A) Never live in a city. Ever. The taxes and fees prevent realistic home ownership
B) Never live somewhere with a HOA. The only people who have time to go to the meetings and make the rules are old retired ladies who have their Lexus worked on at the dealership and only leave the house to scope out your property for

That was a lot to read but I’m glad I did. Damn.

Brown and Black people have been dying at a higher rate. That’s one.

I think it is awesome that you realize you’re confused. When I’m confused, I find it helps to read about the thing that is confusing to me. For instance, I could go over to the google and put in words like “medical industry” “racism” (or if I’m squeamish, “inherent bias”) “inequity”, etc.
