One of the big reasons I hate first-person is because, after being introduced to gaming through titles like Jazz, Keen, Crash and Spyro, FPS feels like gaming with horse blinders on and I have much more limited peripheral awareness.

Neither SimCity nor the recent release of The Sims 4 performed very well, according to a person familiar with goings-on at the studio.
