So, basically, not the F-35.
So, basically, not the F-35.
Boy, there are some crazy mismatched metrics up there.
Hmm, maybe. First, never hold the controller in my lap, but that may be immaterial. The question that came to mind after reading what you wrote is: ‘With all the control options available, is there another more intuitive/precise way Nintendo could have chose for the control scheme?’. And I have to say yes.
LOVED Hengsha. I hope more locations in MD are like that. Best part of the game for me. I’m sure if you de-skinned it and could hover over it like in a helicopter, it would be really boring and logical and easily envisioned, but man, when you were in it, with all the skins and textures and sounds and lighting and…
Meanwhile, Google will put all that money it’s holding into interest-bearing vehicles, the profits of which it will keep for itself.
OMG that was one of the BEST scenes in the whole series. I can’t get tired of it!
He’s totally right about the control scheme thing. Every time you limit controls, the games get simpler. PCs have the best controls because you have the KB/Mouse and controller if you want. With KB, you have tons of buttons. One of the simplest advantages of this is being able to set groups and select them quickly to…
I hope Nintendo learns its lesson this time. If the NX comes out with some daffy controler or other fringe gimmick, I think their days as a console-maker will be done.
Hmm, so Japan’s not buying the F-35 either...
THE TRUCK IS TOO DAMN BIG!
So, normal perfunctory ‘Nazi = bad’ preface, but man, they built the best looking vehicles.
Brian, is this a fake controversy? I mean, if the original publisher doesn’t have a problem with it, and there doesn’t seem much outcry in Japan about it, and the characters don’t look Japanese, nor have any stand-out cultural aspects that are linked to Japan (like favorite foods, drinks, using honorifics, etc.), then…
It’s like the NEW 3DS, except Sony was nice (and maybe business-savy) enough to ensure that those with the original version weren’t excluded from anything.
Maybe we should just give the A-10 to the Army, then. Maybe the Air Force should just focus on air-to-air combat and leave everything that’s dedicated to ground-targetting to the Army/Marines.
Just curious, how many A-List or B-List Japanese-American or even Asian-American actresses do we have in the US? English fluency is a must for the lead in a Hollywood movie (hence the “-American).
Ah, the good old days, when we could still tag pics. Pic tags were preceded in death by the paragraph tags. Both are sadly missed. :(
Do you think the next best logical replacement is the Apache? It’s also slow, low, armored, and primarily designed with CAS is mind. On the plus side, it’s Army, which is the force that benefits most from it. CAS supports ground forces after all, and may explain why the Air Force cares so little about it.
Yeah, FO4 could benefit from a lot of smart features from other games. Once you retake the fort, you should be able to assemble and dispatch teams of Militiamen like in Metal Gear Solid 5. Some will die, most will live, and they’ll bring back new recruits and/or a big chunk of resources.
There is still this unresolved tension between making your character’s attacks seem awesome and powerful while the enemy, which is only a tough battle if it takes a while to kill, basically shrugs off most of what you’re doing.
What’s up with all the reposts lately? I think this is the 5th article in the last 3 weeks that was “originally posted” several days/months ago.
