I think he was referring to the other Assassin's Creed titles, which were staged there and historically have been pretty diverse in their locales. I'd hardly say Revolution-era America is a step in the wrong direction because I can count on one hand the number of games I can think of that have chosen that as the

Can you name another (even marginally) well-known game that is set in Revolutionary War era America? The only one I can think of would be Age of Empires III. I'd hardly say this screams "America Fuck Yeah" at all. It will likely have a completely different tone than any other games you'd put in that category.

I'm fairly certain that will be on repeat for me when the game releases.

That just about made my night hahaha.

Yes, that was made pretty clear by the title of the article. Did they actually design these specific guns for Brink? Does it say that in the article anywhere? No, it does not. I was merely remarking on the fact that they had similar design styles. No need to be snarky.

Only problem? Melee weapons were practically obsolete at this time, and pretty much any enemy you encounter would have a gun (possibly fully automatic) which would completely change the combat. I also feel like there wouldn't be any bustling civilian areas in a game like that. Though it would be an interesting setting

You're really missing out then, and I'd highly recommend getting them. Each successive game has completely improved upon the last without adding anything too loathesome.

Most of the weapons here are very reminiscent of Brink, especially number 4. Love how different these look.

I recall the original Halo (and the sequels I think as well?) doing this correctly. The only thing that bothered me was that every time you took the pistol out in the original, the slide was racked.

As far as I know I've completed The Arrival to its fullest. And knowing what happens at the end of it, that is likely the direct reason for his discharge. So I suppose I could see that as being more important then (I completely forgot about the dishonorable discharge bit).

Having just played through the Arrival, while it does add a slight bit of story, it's somewhat uneventful, and you're still going to have the grander story told to you (presumably) through ME3 when it comes out. It's meant to provide a bit of story between the events of 2 and the beginning of 3. The ending of 2

Maybe it's just me, but I rarely see any mention of it (come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen it recognized at all), or how great it was.

Oh, I know they wouldn't remake it (they'd probably release that as a stand alone, rather than an expansion or something I'd imagine) and I realize there were mods done to Oblivion to remake at least the Morrowind province (did they redo the story/quests too?), but I just loved everything about Morrowind, and I didn't

Jet. Force. Gemini. Perhaps my nostalgia is talking here, but I remember that being a hugely underrated and awesome game. I'd love to see Rare actually make a game again and do a sequel to that one...it's seriously asking for it.

I want what (I personally think) Dead Island should have been, which is precisely what you just said.

I'm certain this has been said multiple times by other people here, but if Elder Scrolls III were recreated in the Skyrim engine, I think I'd die. I remember picking that up for the Xbox way back (about 10 years ago give or take...holy shit), and playing the living hell out of it. This was back when if you even

That Miranda costume is amazing...pretty much straight from the game. Her costume work looks so professional it's incredible. Plus she looks almost exactly like Miranda too.

From now on, I'm going to try and make excuses to use the term 'burger boobs.' Thank you.

Oh man, I friggin' loved Goemon back on the N64. I was never able to find it in stores when I was a kid but my local video store had it and I rented that thing all the time. I need to find a copy of that (and the sequel) somewhere and actually beat it.

Wow, that second video posted at the end of the review made this look like the Anti-fun. "Ah damn, gotta go revive the cop...oh, look, I'm in pieces...ah gotta go revive the cop...oh look, they both immediately smashed into me again...oh gee, now I have to go revive the cop again. And whaddaya know? It looks like none
