Years ago, I towed a Miata race car up and down the West Coast behind a near-identical ‘01. Not the best mileage but it never failed and pulled full-sized trucks from snow and mud pretty regularly.

I have a white double cab, TRD SR5 with 106K miles. it really is a very nice truck and does everything we want. It is smooth running, rides like a Cadillac and tows our Jayco X213 very well, I wouldn’t want to go much bigger for a camper. Also tow a 16’ Arima Sea Explorer.
