I recently visited Japan and was delighted by how clean it was but frustrated by how difficult it was to find a trash can on the street. I carried trash around for hours looking for some place to put it.

I recently visited and was just amazed and pleased by how clean everything was. I accidentally dropped some trash on the ground and felt HORRIBLE because I didn't want to litter in their very nice country. And the bathrooms were so tidy! It was a rude awakening to come back to US public restrooms.
