Also perhaps worth noting that the Warriors set a new NBA record for consecutive home game wins of 13+ points.

Red Chair is indeed fantastic. Glad to see Oregon beers getting some love.
I spoke with a Tastemaster or what have you from Deschutes, and he said they're considering making Red Chair year round, but they're not sure how that will affect sales. They like the huge boost and attention it gets currently as a seasonal.
Absolutely filthy.
This guys seems like he knows what he's talking about AND I BELIEVE HIS WISDOM.
This thing reads like a To Do List:
And yet millions of people sit on their couches and watch sports. They're not physically active doing that, and they don't find it boring.
Haha, check out what happens when you hold your mouse cursor over the change log entry for Vacuum.
For the same reason people don't get bored watching sports that are played on the same field or court. It's not what makes the game exciting.
It was available, they just sold out in 2 hours this morning.
Should have known Peterson was looking for a switch when he called Jerry Jones a few weeks back.
It's also been announced that an independent investigation into if smoking causes cancer will be overseen by CEOs of Phillip Morris and Imperial Tobacco.
So I guess I haven't been on Kotaku much this past week. Anyone care to give a brief rundown of exactly to what the hell this is referring?
Argh, yes. My brain said m/s but my fingers said km/s.
Very cool. However, Nathan, it was at 300 km/s. It would be painfully slow to fly through space at 300 km/hr.
I loved this game so much. I still have boxes and boxes of cards in my closet. If I remember right my favored decks were a Light Side Tatooine ground & pound, and a Dark Side Yavin force drain deck.
I enjoy Wizard the most, partly because I love melting monsters with Magic Missile (Mirrorball + Conflagrate). It's a real pity that build is getting destroyed in the upcoming 2.1 patch. It's not even grossly overpowered.
That's a tough call because the second one really was bad. It's been so long I wonder if you could skip the 2nd book altogether and it would still stand up. If you like the setting, might be worth a shot!
The Hellgate: London books were an interesting case study in video game novels. The first in the trilogy, Exodus, was released before the game came out. It was actually pretty great. Rich theme, action-packed and engrossing.
The in-game tutorial isn't all that useful. Just watch a couple good Let's Plays and dive right in. It's relatively easy to learn as you go. Start small, grow with the game. It's fantastic.
