One thing I learned from reading "The Gift of Fear" is that people do shit like this in an attempt to get a reaction.

I hope it is another drop in the bucket that will someday become a typhoon of social change.

I've always found it so perplexing that male gamers find women so threatening in in what they perceive to be "their" space; like dude, I've been gaming since I got my first SNES at age 6, why do you give a shit?

Most rednecks that I've met are proud of the title.

A&E hired a family of rednecks, then react with shock when one of them actually says something that a redneck would say. This is why reality television sucks.

Lock them up anyway.

But like others have pointed out, that's basically every business in the United States at this point, other than farmer's markets. You don't even see many boutiques these days (the kind where a person would sell his/her handmade items). I'm not saying that's a good thing, but it's the way things have turned out.

Good point!

Her buyers are ignorant for appreciating Native American art?

It would be the same issue if she had bought from any poor community/person to make a profit.

You sound like a real pain in the ass.

Stop infantilizing these Native American adults who agreed to work with her.

Begin by finding the most economically disadvantaged group you can & find ways to profit from them!

She is specifically buying from people that she knows is economically disadvantaged & selling at a profit.

Then use Google next time before you make an ignorant comment. And what makes you think I'm white, you racist idiot?

Lily white? Durham is 40% African-American, you fucking idiot.

As a man, I vow to beat the shit out of Hunter Moore if I ever see him, regardless of the circumstances, time, or place. He makes the rest of us look like monsters by association, and for that he must pay.

I really feel bad for Lamar. He seems like a genuinely good guy and I hope he makes it through this.

It's like he went to the tattoo parlor and asked, "what kind of tattoo would best convey the message that no one should trust me, ever?"
