The stop-motion Medusa scene from Clash of the Titans scared the bejesus out of me as a kid. It was full of mood and atmosphere. I thought the CGI version of the same scene from the remake was a confusing mess.
He's not a real hero, he left them with IE6......
Death Race 2000 (1975). NOBODY in Hollywood has made a satire this sick and this hilarious since. (Verhoeven's come close a couple times. Tarantino only wishes he could make a movie 1/100th this good!)
