Yeah, I've always thought the same thing and never had any problems doing just that.

So...how does FreedomPop make money?
Turner is lucky the team didn't let Stephenson pound him until he was nothing more than a wad of meat.
Uh, no. Flexing is for me and me alone. Sometimes for my wife. And the cat or the dog, if they're hanging around while I'm lifting. Oh, and the neighbors, if it's hot enough that I leave the garage door open. And one time the UPS guy.
Oh I NEVER forget to flex in the mirror. I found a free full-length 4x8 mirror on Craigslist that I put up on the wall out there.
I cannot WAIT to get started on my workout today, which will consist of lifting weights in my garage while wearing nothing more than a pair of shorts. Thank you for the motivation HamNo.
Where the fuck did Tucker Max get $25k? I thought he was bankrupt from that horrific flop of a movie.
Sadly, most lessons aren't quite so profitable. :)
That's a pretty sensible solution. Thanks!
Yeah...this sounds a little TOO incredible. Now if someone has control of your phone - even for a couple of minutes - they can gain access to things that really ought to be secure (such as, say, your Paypal account).
I'm not insulted; I wasn't a semi-pro gambler at all. I was just a kid who spent a few hours learning how to count cards and memorizing the relevant play tables. In retrospect I could have done many things differently (playing multiple hands to add more variation to what the dealer drew - that was how they…
An interesting thing that happened to me; this seems like an appropriate place to share it.
Also, it gives those of us born in December an excuse as to why we're not professional athletes!
Beats me - I'm really only here to dispute the original author's point about friction.
What DavePuddy11 said, plus you can extend further from your center of gravity if you're fully horizontal. But I'm not saying Reynolds is right, I'm just saying that the bit about friction isn't much of a foundation for Tom's argument.
I don't know about the other factors, but it seems to me that if you time your dive/slide so that you hit the ground the same time you touch the bag, there won't be any additional friction. But you know, I also thought the new Kinja was a horrible fucking format that would vastly reduce the number of comments I read…
Hi everyone. Do we all still hate the new Kinja?
It's really that bad, Tom. I've gone from perusing the comments and adding my own on a daily basis to barely commenting at all. And I know nobody gives a shit what my dumb ass has to say, but I thought the purpose of the redesign was to INCREASE engagement, not stifle it.
