In all honesty as a person who does some social media management professionally (not my main gig, but I do run two corporate consumer-facing accounts) it will not hurt them. This kind of irreverence and snark is what most people are attracted to now. Earnestness doesn’t get likes and retweets, sass does, every time.

Hopefully he can sue for wrongful termination based on having a disability and collect his pension that was due to him. Sadly this probably means a large chunk of what he gets (if he wins or gets a settlement) will go to his lawyers.

Not to pile on, but . . . you’re still buying the game. The truth is these practices aren’t going to end until a significant amount of people give up the actual game to make a statement. All what you’re doing tells EA is that “we haven’t pushed people far enough yet. Maybe next time, we can push them a little farther.”

If you are purchasing the game, you are buying into them.
