Is there a passive-aggressive salad bar?

Speaking of the flood of new dayside commenters - what is with that? It's encouraging, I'm not complaining, but it seems weird all the sudden. Where did they all come from? I've noticed DS has been more active on Facebook, with a lot of (really terrible) comments there - are they coming from there?

The mobile site is just straight pissing me off. The comments aren't up to date, and I can't get to the full site. There's no reason for that. But, the same problem exists with the ca. sites - the comments aren't current. They're perpetually a half-hour+ behind.

The problem is, their web site works fine now. It's just that their comments don't. Denton has made no secret that he doesn't care about commenters; we're a very small piece of the pageview pie overall. I suppose it's a philosophical argument whether people are reading for the articles, or for the comments; I imagine
