My mom is almost completely deaf, for reference. I wouldn’t go so far as to say touching someone to get their attention is rude (well, maybe it is now that I think about it) but at the least, it is very startling.

This is exciting, and could be such an interesting bridge over the decades of women in television. Mary Tyler Moore was a trailblazer in her time, and Lena Waithe is in hers. Waithe’s personal lens could produce a fascinating contemporary take on Moore’s life and career. Hope it happens!
