I’ve been wondering who would take up Ann Coulter’s mantle for the next generation. Now I know!
Well, he’s been there long enough (and you witnessed a signing) that he has tenants’ rights at this point.
You’re not pathetic.
‘Normal’ is whatever works for you and the boundaries you set. As to expectations, it sounds like either they are unspoken (like the birthday) or changes after the fact (why did mom object to the bill after y’all settled up and planned to split it three ways?)
Stormi and Lucky are the names of the lab/schnauzer mixes who are Pets of the Week at the local Humane Society.
I don’t think the United States - the one we believe in, the one we hope it to be - will survive four years of a Trump administration. I’m not exaggerating. Civil rights curtailed, anti-science, freedom of the press undermined.... we are fast approaching a Dark Ages of our own making.
Rachel are you leaving? I hate to hear that. You are an excellent writer and one of the Nice Ones around here. Best of luck in your next adventure. You will be missed.
I for one welcome our Octopus Overloads. And of COURSE they are from Australia.
Dodai is back! Things are looking up around here!
OT: All I know is, I’m glad Kara Brown is off the masthead. She had very thin skin and could be very vindictive to commenters (both here and on Twitter). At least once, she took major offense to a perceived slight, and proceeded to burn and ban several commenters on a post she didn’t even write.
I’m just pleased this is filed to, ‘LIFE’S RICH PAGEANT’.
Try just an accent wall to start - especially if you are talking ORANGE.
Yeah I’m a lawyer and I’m not up on the legal basis for Ford’s pardon of Nixon. I work in environmental nonprofit and 1stA issues - so I don’t know every aspect of the applicable statutes - so like every other attorney I don’t know it all, I’m afraid. But I’m sure a lawyer who works in such will weigh in with more…
No! Just, no.
(1) a guilty plea is required for a Presidential pardon; (2) Presidential pardon power does not extend to State crimes.
I...what?
Thank you for this. KJL really changed the face of jewelry and adornment for the everyday woman. You didn’t have to be rich to indulge yourself with pretty shiny things. And with so many celebrities wearing his designs, he made costume jewelry accessible, acceptable, and fun.
This is excellent news and I am thrilled to see you write about it.
Always approps.
