@TheRealDoshu: I wish I could think that people are honest. I am a repair technician and I see what people do to their systems. I ask them before I open the console up if it has been opened or altered. I will be taking your console apart and seeing what you have done to it. Yet people still tell me that it has never

@TheRealDoshu: The thing is, they aren't really telling you what to do. It is just their terms of service. They say hey don't do this, this, and that, and we will let you play games and play online.

@Batman: There are terms of service in the box as well. Once you open that box you accept that Sony has the right to stop supporting your console at any point in time that they feel you have broken their terms. When you buy a console that goes online you can be shut down in an instant now. They consider services to be

@Kytano-Skorpius: That would be because I couldn't really relate it to the controller. That is a pretty shotty decision they are making... but I am pressing the controller issue. Lol. I do not falter from my topic at hand. Ok yeah I do...

@NightMystic: Yeah that is pretty bad... but if you think about it, it isn't that bad since I could always download it again for free... But it does send a message... I mean I still have Linger In Shadows on my system... and DeTuned. Both of those can be fully exhausted in about 15 minutes a piece unless you are

I never really liked High Velocity Bowling as it was. I will just wait for Brunswick to make a game and I will enjoy that with the move. Maybe they will patch this up.... but I can't say I am holding my breath.

@rich8606: Well if you want to compare it to Kinect or Wii's motion based games.... They are on par. I personally think the Move games look more fun (and accurate) than Kinect's. And as for the Wii... sigh. I think the best Wii games are the ones where you DON'T use motion controls... or what little motion you

@bigdude209: You must not have read my comment. I just typed a long response explaining myself and Kotaku had some sort of malfunction and I don't feel like retyping it. So in short....

@bigdude209: You totally missed the point of my comment. There is no connection between a USB device that interacts with your system and them performing server maintenance. Firmware updates could be linked to trying to stop the piracy. But routine server maintenance... that is something they have to do to keep things

Go figure. What a Microsoft thing to do...

@ExplosiveFace: I was going to say something about this. A lot of the games I play don't even show button letters just the color. And if they do show the button latter it is paired with that color. I don't mind the aesthetic change but for compatibility it isn't a smart move.

Someone please tell me how so many people are connecting this maintenance to the USB device? How exactly would server repairs help against a device like that? How can something that has no affect on your system change the situation. It is just downright silly. There isn't a doubt in my mind that the folks at Sony are

@Novasys: Yeah it sucked. I hate the idea that they are closing up though, that means more effing redboxes.

@Orin: To be honest I have no clue what they could do to it. Other than make it small and build all sorts of extra stuff into it that are extracurricular so to say. Comes with a camera and move out the box, has 3D features built in, and they upgrade the processor to top of the line (or like last time beyond what is

@ShogunDarius: I could not agree more. But the only thing wrong is they are working tirelessly towards a negative cause. They want to steal. Ash is like the athlete that just keeps getting injured and never really makes it anywhere but still plays the game. For the love.

@Kellen Dunkelberger: The difference is that your analogy was saying "I bought a bike and I want to ride it... anywhere" Ok fine. But what does that mean for games? You bought a PS3... ok. You want to... play burnt games? How about this for an analogy...

@ShogunDarius: Y'know... he may be the worst, but he is the most inspired. Even after losing to just about every elite four group, and winning the majority of his badges by just being a nice guy... he still doesn't give up. He has gotten how many kids into Pokemon? He is not only the most inspired trainer, but the

@Komrade Kayce: I want to see them finally get some real crime. Not Team Rocket stealing Pokemon... I mean murder and some serious theft. How about Ash finally puts some real clothes on and stops catching every junk starter. I want to see him running through the grass and thinking "If I see another damn bellsprout I

@tangerine: I will get on it right away boss!... wait I suck at drawing.
