@Stompy1: Actually I have a theory that his Pikachu cannot level. Pikachu is mentally retarded. Pikachu only learns new attacks and stays level 5. It could be said "oh well what about when he is fighting the gym leaders and the elite four" Pikachu is still only level 5, but all of the other trainers feel bad for Ash

@Orin: While he may be right that it may drag into another console's 10 years... but right around the corner? What is that? 4 years? That is the only time I can see a new console coming out. So I doubt it is... right around the corner. To be honest, what else can they put in a new console? Better GPU? More RAM? CPU?

@Altima NEO: Redbox and Gamefly destroyed their market. A dollar a night for a dvd? and decent titles too. Gamefly started off pretty bad but now is as reliable as netflix with their times. It is just plain crazy how fast the market changed hands. I personally still buy all of my things and avoid renting...

@Novasys: The blockbuster across the street from my house closed up and the day before they closed for good they had about $3 off of decent games. Which were very used I might add.

@Christopher Jones: At that time, you look at him and tell him you will keep the game. Even though there isn't a game out there that I would pay $500 to play. Unless it came with a system and some crazy collector's edition.... but that is far from the point.

@square enigma: My first memory of Blockbuster would have to be... I guess it would be getting Tony Hawk Pro Skater on the N64. We had just got the thing... It was a huge step up from our NES. Had a SNES but it broke... Such simple times.

@dowingba: Yeah I have no clue what nipsen is talking about. This game has never been friendly or easy. It has always been about getting that perfect formula down to your tuning. It has been about getting that perfect racing line that needs to be perfect down to the finest level. For heaven's sake, the original GT

@DJ Schway: Well the PS3 is a bit different. The PSX and PS2 were both starting to die out as the next model was announced. The PS3 has the technology to last a bit longer this time around. It is built to last 10 years and will continue to make advancements in those 10 years. But once something much bigger and useful

@resonance462: I believe it was temporarily free... Or maybe a car pack. I know they had some sort of ultimate combo deal though.

@George Lampard: It looks like it should be good as long as they ironed out all of the solo experience bugs. Now if they take their time and focus on making sure they conquer this issue they will be fine and have a great thing going for them. I was thinking they could have all of the "players" that are participating

It is a shame what the pirate community did to the Dreamcast. I miss that console. Some of the best RPGs on that baby. Sonic had some great titles there too. Marvel Vs Capcom... 1 and 2. I will never forget that console. I sadly lost my original Dreamcast to a thunderstorm... But I have a replacement with an amazing

@George Lampard: While that may work for you they seem to be pushing this as a way to get into the market that Nintendo has dominated for the past hundred and fifty years (more like 10). They have made gaming easy, and they have made gaming something to do with friends and family. Almost all of their titles are family

@resonance462: I only buy DLC for games that I don't plan on selling. It also gives new worth to my games. I wouldn't get DLC for let's say... a fighting game. I only play them for a while to get my bearings then sell it since all the people I will play with have it. But for a game like Borderlands that I enjoy and

@Kovitlac: True that. Sadly I am looking to work at Universal with some of the most ridiculous people and craziest stories. The fun is just beginning... LOL.

@resonance462: Like I said it is somewhat backwards though. Being able to go online and torrent the updates or buy the game install and use the key, make a copy of the disc and return it to walmart... You can do this very simply. Whereas on consoles there is much less availability to pirate games. Even when pirating

@thepenguin55: They aren't. They are prepared to do whatever they have to do to keep it on shelves and in homes. They won't just let it die. Microsoft is putting a lot behind this and won't sit by as the product crashes and burns.

@George Lampard: It doesn't take a crap load. It only takes one.

@luigilogik: It wasn't the crowds of people or the fact that it was a camera arm... It was the fact that something interfered with the controlling person. That could be anything from a dog to your wife, a child or the door opening and a friend walking in. what happens is even after the person walks away from you they

@Kovitlac: It is just great some of the things we have to deal with. Retail in general. I have worked retail my entire working life. I have seen some scary stuff, some funny stuff, things I never want to see again. Everything from stripping homeless people to a kid doing the potty dance while playing our PSP demo

@Kovitlac: Our shop does repairs and I am also one of the technicians. There have been a good number of people that get pretty heated when we cannot repair their console. We had someone go as far as opening a google ad campaign against us. They designed a website and everything, paid for advertising with google (which
