I guess it isn't really too hard to make fake games. We actually found a distributor in China that was selling Mario games and Pokemon games for the DS at like 20 copies for a hundred bucks. So we bought a few and when they got there it was clear they were fakes. The games played well and had no issues but the

I actually had a copy of this come into my store and we played it. It was super glitchy but fun. The characters swore, there were a few extra pokemon with weird moves that made no sense, they had horrible sprites as well. But what was really weird was that it had Shadow from Sonic. He was a legendary pokemon and had

@Kovitlac: I think my favorite has to be if Wii games work in GameCubes... There is a list of things that just don't match up with that... I can go on for days about the various questions I have gotten or heard in the store. We deal with retro consoles as well. People that come in for one generation of games and see

@resonance462: I think that when people look at DLC for games they always relate it to an unlock code of some sort, or they ask themselves "why wasn't this just in the game...." but it isn't always like that. My issue with what they are doing is they are charging one market and not the other. In fact they are charging

@optikk: PS3 and PSP are totally different. For starters the PSP can be be fully flashed with new firmware. PS3 has a failsafe. Basically it looks something like this...

@Xzyx987X: I hear ya. But when it comes to stateside releases they were same day. While Red technically came out first, all 3 were based on the same core game, features, pokemon, and were of course the same generation . I applaud your attention to detail though.

@NaraVara: The avatar clothing is just stupid. Not only for the customers but the companies. I would never want to put my name on an overpriced piece of data. Real world designer hats piss me off enough as it is. At least I could WEAR that one though... The avatars play no role in anything either. You do not get an

I guess this is Microsoft's way of feeding fanboys. The one thing they can always control... their prices. Developer's can leave, consoles could be more efficient, children can never pick up another 360 headphone again... But they will always be able to raise their prices.

@Kovitlac: I had someone bring in a copy of Jumper after they bought it... (it dropped down to like $20 a week after came out) and they were so mad about the trade in value of it they broke their game in half. I was like... Umm now I have to charge you labor for cleaning up all the colorful specks of Hayden

@orenn: I can't play it. I bought it and traded it in the next day. But then again I only got the wii for a few Nintendo games. Zelda, Mario, Brawl, Metroid, and Okami (not Nintendo... but still good)... Oh and the promise that Pikmin was making it's way there.

@HitmonInfinity: I know plenty of people that fall outside that realm of I can check out the game and tell you...

Free on PC and Mac... Yet Paid for on 360. Sounds to me like Microsoft just can't let a free thing stay free. I would really love to see an insider story on how pricing for virtual content goes about. Not just from Microsoft but from the developer's standpoint as well as Sony. Who is it deciding what is free for Plus

Working at a game store. Not a GameStop (thank God) but a knock off. Seeing the things people buy... It is just a huge letdown seeing people come up and buy just awful titles. It is due in part to the hype machine, partially just being misinformed.

@Goldwings: Wow. Best comment evar. For serious though. You deserve that star glow. I laughed, I cried, I even made some amazing memories.

@Vash627: But it only has anchovies, white sauce, and low fat cheese.

@Vash627: Oh no it will. It prolly won't look like this though.

@optikk: They can view all of the things you have installed to your system. If you have that application installed it is obvious you are using this dongle. Also they will patch this exploit into oblivion. once the next FW update happens it will be more than likely to counteract this thing. They did it to stop all of

@Vash627: The picture is a very old fake. It was actually made when we originally heard about the possibility of a PSP2. It was then decided that the PSP2 needed to have a large screen for touch, 2 joysticks, a slide feature, a rocking audio system, 3d, a pizza maker, a limited edition Hannah Montana DVD set, and did

It would seem that the device is tricking the PS3 into believing the game you choose is actually in the disk drive. Much like a virtual drive on PC systems that replicates the processes a physical drive performs this seems to intercept the info and change it's path. You need a game in the drive because PS3s are very

@KichiGuy: Well he was talking about the timer that keeps track of your naughty viewing habits. Not so much as the nudity... In fact MGS doesn't have that.
