Some sign ideas I’ve had:

“Threatening women makes Me feel better about my life”
“I need a hobby”
“[name of your town] needs more children in poverty!”
“We’re scared”
“Freedom of choice = Do as I say”
“I don’t want to help the needy, so I’ll just stand here”

Now, if only I can convince my friends to give up their Saturday

Back in the 1980s, when I was still a baby...

The thing about 300 is it’s about propaganda, but it’s not propaganda in and of itself. The entire story is framed within a story told by a one-eyed narrator, the only survivor of the battle at the hot gates. Near the end of the story we see him charged with returning to Sparta and telling everyone of what happened

Terrible.

This! These few words encapsulate so much.

It became desirable when the "free market" failed to adequately respond to consumers wants and needs. It's necessary when companies forge an Oligopoly that stagnates innovations, stifles competition and threatens to unbalance the ideal that the Internet should be an equal playing field for everyone.

I agree. I loosely follow the Paleo diet and just stick with the "if it's natural it's good". Now that's a very simplistic way of looking at it but I'm not going to say "well these cavemen didn't have baked beans so I can't have them". Eat natural foods and you'll be good to go.

That's not what the Paleo diet is at all, and it's a strawman to say it is. The Paleo philosophy is this: Humans evolved eating meat, vegetables and fruit, therefore your body runs most efficiently on meat, vegetables, and fruit. It doesn't mean humans are designed to only eat extinct creatures. That's ludicrous. But

I am crying right now.

LOL. Good one, Sneijds.

Because then I would have to admit that a poorly written film character is the sum of all that is evil in this country.

At least they didn't take the opportunity to slam Man of Steel again. I am totally befuddled that shit like Europa Report and This is the End are on there and The World's End is not.

I'm with you. I don't know if it is because the actors haven't had enough time to grow into their characters and get the interpersonal timings down, or if it is just weird dialogue. (The "don't have to call me iron man" from last week was really cringe-worthy).

I was*more concerned about the fate of that sandwich than I have ever been with the fate of Skye.

you are a sad, pathetic little man.

Typical idealistic nonsense based on nothing. Some wealthy individual comes up with some irrelevant gimmick for a well-to-do crowd and these so-called experts pin their vision on that. What relevance do any of these things have on reality?

I don't give a shit about human-powered data or garbage anthropology. I want to

Now playing

I really loved Sukiyaki, especially because while carrying its influences on its sleeve it was still it's own, Miike-madness-infused thing.
