I don't get this. They are just aping the form of the mirrors. Why not make it almost like a cowl with a camera behind it. It will clean up the lines as well as cut down on drag.

When I start my car in the morning I will turn it on and set my heater to full blast recirculation and not on defrost. I will still turn on the rear electric defroster. This will heat up the air ducts quicker and when I get in after clearing off the snow I'm not greeted with a blast of cool air.

I wouldn't call this simple syrup. You really aren't making a syrup. The idea is that you are not just blending the ingredients, you are also reducing it down into a slightly thicker substance. You can skip these steps and add your sugar directly to what you are sweetning with it and just stir vigorously.
