Yes, because the true hallmark of maturity (and apparently masculinity, by your inscrutable logic) is to become emotionally, intellectually, and politically tone deaf and never once stop to ask questions about the media we're consuming!

Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery is completely excellent. Really unique and definitely worth $4.99.
Said it before and I'll say it again. Best $35 I've ever spent.
I laughed out loud at "PRESS SQUARE TO KISS WIFE."
Yeah I guess that's cool and everything but can we talk about why that woman is walking that way???
I really, really hope that Rockstar manages to inject the same amount of creepy noir surrealism into this game as Remedy did. It's worrisome that the closest thing to surrealism in the preview was a suicide-bomber bum (??)
Irene was actually horribly destructive for farmers of all fruits and vegetables in the Northeast. The farm in upstate New York that supplies vegetables for my CSA no longer exists because it sat under six feet of water for a week. People's livelihoods have been totally washed away. It's really, really bad.
Yeah, and the PS3 is a "trainwreck" that Valve will "never" develop for.
Or you can be like me and save time by drinking while playing video games. I'm the most productive person I know!
That Otherworld section of the hospital remains, to this day, the most stressful gaming experience I've ever had. SH3 isn't my favorite in the series, but that specific section of it freaked me out in a way that no other game has.
Here's an ad for the game that I came across today. Makes me think they put a whole lot of careful work into this thing. "You are the contoller," indeed.
It's Marker Felt. Blech.

Did you play Enslaved?
Somebody has to; Rage sure doesn't.
I'm not pissed off at all, I like id! I just think they should stick to what they're good at, which hasn't been developing compelling games for a long time.
Clearly you're not bitching enough. This game appears to have it all. Gritty sci-fi setting? Check. Trendy post-apocalyptic landscape? Check. Ugly mutant enemies? Check. Clunky Mad Max buggy-driving mechanic? Check. Gravelly-voiced space marines/truckers/mercenaries? Check. Amnesiac protagonist? Check. Faceless…
I already said this in TAY today, but frankly I don't understand the hype for Rage. id hasn't produced an objectively good game in a really, really long time, and I sort of don't get why they still insist on releasing $60 tech demos when they could just ditch game development and stick to licensing their (excellent)…
I agree completely. Frankly I don't understand the hype for Rage. id hasn't produced an objectively good game in a really, really long time, and I sort of don't get why they still insist on releasing $60 tech demos when they could just ditch game development and stick to licensing their (excellent) engines.
Take this with a grain of salt, as I'm pretty actively not a fan of the series, but in my opinion XII is excellent. The battle system is awesome and surprisingly deep, the characters and locations are likable and memorable, and the plot is mature and eschews most of the angst and other cliches Final Fantasy has…
