@SycoJack: Maybe you just explained it. Collecting interest? Really?

@SycoJack: I will never understand Gamestop's bizarre need to restrict the number of copies they order to the number of preorders they receive, especially with releases as high profile as Reach.

So beyond thrilled to know this gem did well enough to warrant a Greatest Hits release, and that even if Sony was dumb enough to pass on publishing the first time they're now acknowledging how truly brilliant and important it is.

@PlaidNinja: It...is a single player title. But it's online. Also, it's not a single player title. It's hard to describe, but it's amazing. If you can play online you should, but know that if you never take it to the PSN you'll still have an amazing, amazing experience.

@catsmeatpotterpirbright: This is exactly the question I've been asking myself (and others) lately. I'm sort of tentatively shopping for a new camera, and had been planning on finally taking the plunge on an entry-level DSLR, but all these "professional" point-and-shoots are really screwing up the decision-making

Has anyone else had a horrible fucking experience with the battery life of these controllers? I had two controllers with rechargeable batteries (official Microsoft play and charge kits!) and both completely (like completely) lost their capacity within a year.

@wtf_G: iOS4 absolutely does work on the 3G—minus wallpapers, multitasking, and, yes, Game Center. My sad old 3G has been chugging along with iOS 4.0.2 for a while now.

@Raso719: I'm not sure how useful it is to draw a parallel between the Japanese anime industry and the American game industry.

Most people might not think about a movie or a novel as a "product," but people who are in the business of producing and selling them sure do.

Wait, doesn't this game kind of blow? It blows, right?

@stan-the-man: I had no idea they even existed until I did the Google image search! Super cool.

@twothefutureandbeyond: Fuck yeah, dude. That's why I strap my turntable to my chest when I run to the bodega on the corner.

@Demonbird: I dunno, I thought they delivered as much as developers usually deliver on lofty promises—which is to say, sort of.

@Yankton: On a certain level I think you're right, but I think it's a mistake to equate narrative with gameplay mechanics.

@TwistedChimp: Haven't read Sheep Chase but yeah, Murakami was the first thing I thought of when I watched this trailer. Which, of course, makes me that much more excited for this game. Fingers crossed this makes it to the States.

Forget an iPhone competitor, just focus on developing an Amazon MP3 Store app for iOS.

Indelibly burned into my brain: iddqd, idkfa, and, if you really wanted to get your ten-year-old mind blown, idspispopd and idclip.
