And how is that different from how other races want to expand and conquer? Notice how in Endless Space a military victory is considered fine for factions that aren’t even generally interested in it. Even the Amoeba can get it. Other “good” factions can.

What about that trailer suggest that they were bad guys?

The point is more the charity.

As a Symmetra player that’s hated for all the wrong reasons (not switching at the slightest sign of distress), I can’t wait to be hated for all the right reasons.

I guess I never noticed they drove on the right side of the road. Sort of odd for a Japanese title, no?

By “we” you mean a few angry individuals. Let’s not blow it out of proportion.

You don’t have to not be a fan of them for my reasons. You can have other reasons.

The fact that my valid and correct opinion upsets you so much pleases me. Lets me know I’m on the right track when people who talk like this disagree.

What I wouldn’t like (and I’ll probably pick up Tyranny soon) is that my experience will be different from other people’s experience. The reason beating a game and talking about a game is so fun is because it’s relatable. Stuff like this detracts from it. Same reason I hate pre-0rder bonuses.

I remember so many people here and on Gawker slamming Sanders supporters in favor of Clinton. Well, we know now that Clinton just isn’t electable.

Correct. Numbers are numbers, and they don’t support what you’re saying.Move on.

Blizzard was paying attention during the ARG. They weren’t deaf to the outcry.

XCOM 2 before XCOM: Enemy Unknown? I felt like 2 was fine but it was a radical departure from the first, and not as easy to get into. Plus, with 1, I could sit back and enjoy things like podcasts after a few hundred hours. With 2 there’s so much going on it’s almost tiring.

It is average. Average is acceptable. You’re supposed to feel more for a humanized robot you spend a lot of time with more than a passerby in a game, but they still elicit reactions.

If you can’t get beyond the average and acceptable graphics of CoD then again, I think this is on you.

Why do you think discussing video games implies a lack of maturity? You’re on Kotaku - a site that runs serious articles about games, running the gamut from racism and sexism to bad practices.

So when you read a book or watch a film, you feel no emotion at all? Isn’t that a bad way to through life? Doesn’t that just hammer through my point about empathy?

So there was no attachment to the beginning of Saving Private Ryan because we didn’t know any of the characters?

Gawker is dead, long live Gawker.
