Once again on Kotaku, the top comment is someone who didn’t read the article. :(

Maybe, but if you go through fast enough you can spread the damage out somewhat. If four people enter the room it’s done, but if you mean that, I get it. Still I wouldn’t take to calling people idiots because they’re bad at a computer game or anything.

I’m not advocating that at all. I’m the one saying it has three uses. Clustered up, lots of damage, little detection. Spread out, little damage, lots of detection. I think this change is meant for the car washes, nothing else, and that’s fine. She was underused, but correct me if I’m wrong - she has the highest win

I’ve played on consoles; I play on PC. Her turrets aren’t meant to last long. They deal some damage while slowing to the intruder they detected. They’re meant to be placed in sneaky places. They aren’t meant to wipe out players, even though they can very well do that. A player who discovers a car wash typically

Ana takes a knowledge of Overwatch and a relaxed perspective on the game. You have to see the bigger picture, and seeing as most people want to run heroes that just go head-on into the objective, she’s not for most people. But if you learn to move her around? Shit’s cray. I love going 1v1 vs tanks like Roadhog and

I think my best PotG with Symmetra was when I killed 5 players solo within the first 10 seconds of defending Numbani. Her best-kept secret is her left click honestly.

Never experienced the cliff spawn thing myself. Did it to some friends who were being obnoxious once, but that was with a full group in a quick play match, so there wasn’t any collateral.

You responded to me twice so I’m not sure if one was meant for another. Using them for flank detection and slowing is really what they’re for too. You could set up one kill room or spread them out. Depends on the map, really. Symmetra even has a line about detecting intruders but people seem to think it’s only for

I play on PC and what I said was correct as well though. I’ve also played it on console. There’s no law written that turrets can only exist to deal damage; hence why she has a line “intruder detected”. They’re there to also detect where people are and to slow opponents down. I’d imagine if the turrets also did a lot

Do you play the game on both PC and console? Do you have extensive time with Symmetra on both, or at least on one?

In whose bible is it written that turrets are supposed to get kills and only that. Her turrets slow opponents down, leaving them open to get left-clicked. They also show when they’re firing, so if spaced out, you can use them to detect enemies. In fact, that’s a line she specifically delivers when they do that. This

You there? I was hoping you could point out the evidence suggesting it’s the oldest of the shorts.

Symmetra’s my most-played hero. I’ll even rock her on attack maps to spite other toxic players and end up taking their medals away. I get why they wanted to nerf the already low turret damage on consoles even though I play on PC. Turning around and finding them after you walk into a room can be tough already. They

Before I say anything else, what’s the evidence?

I’m going to just assume it’s a Talon AI and remember I won’t even remember the theories the moment she’s released. People kept thinking Sombra was going to be Ana and that turned out false, so I’m not sure all this investigating is giving anyone connected clues. Hints, sure, but not hints that are leading us to one

I don’t think anything you said rules out an AI. Athena in the Winston short has a female voice, and it’s not odd for people to assign genders to things like AI. Also, AIs are intelligent things. We don’t have any now (that we know of #tinfoilhat) so our conception of them is only through the lens of sci-fi. GLaDOS

I can’t take that theory seriously. If it ends up being her, then no clues really mattered or were connected to it. Dorado is the same as the animated short, so signs asking about Sombra would be they’re asking about a little girl who isn’t inspired at the time of the short.

Gonna put my money on Sombra being a sort of evil AI. Or at least an AI that’s not an outright hero.

Nothing’s unbalanced. Having money doesn’t abstain you from making mistakes. What sort of capitalist idea is that?

Shh. It’s okay. It’ll get fixed, and patched, and balanced. It’s okay.
