“Mercury Sable station wagons are not cool.”
You had a bad one
Regular snow, sure. Try climbing an icy hill without AWD or 4x4.
nothing more expensive than cheap German muscle.
For $11k you could build 35 23 second cars... I think.
Aaaaaand I would still buy it with the stick. If I am going to go careening in a group of people at cars and coffee, I want to be fully engaged.
some people awoke Friday and found the storm had consumed their cars with ice.
i3 ugliest? Mirai says “Bitch, please.”
Yeah, but you also chose to drive the ugliest car on the planet. I suppose that offsets the smugness thing? “Lookit me saving the earth, in a really fucking ugly vehicle”
I don’t want to hear shit from people about contributing to pollution from warming up a car for a few minutes if they still eat meat and dairy. That contributes more to climate change than all the cars, trucks, ships etc in the world combined. Not to mention the biggest use of water, biggest polluter of water, biggest…
Jason, you are an idiot, but we all thought that long before this article. Plus, you’re OUR idiot.
I’m willing to bet most of these people who disapprove of your opinion on the matter, Jason, are those who don’t live somewhere it gets cold enough.
Hold on, i’m a tad lost...mainly because i’m not as “woke” as you are..i assume. I’m just trying to find the misinformation between the science/engineering of the argument. Take my truck for instance. The active fuel system (DOD) is controlled by the lifters (as well as a solenoid system and fuel cut off), which are…
That’s fine, cite your sources and there can be debate rather than just flinging hate. This isn’t facebook.
Kind of hard to steal my car with me sitting in it while it’s warming up. Or did that kind of get glossed over, much like you and common sense?
Please provide specific counterpoints to the “misinformation” proliferated in the above article.
If theft is a worry, sit in your car. Everything after theft in your post isn’t needed. It’s not the worst idea to let it warm up a little. In really cold temps I’ve blown HP steering lines because of fluid thickness, my 5 sp has been like rowing an oar through concrete.
Just what I like to see. A quality rebuttal written in a professional manner, and rife with evidence to the contrary.
You seem nice.
