Told you Saab's could be cool ;)
While in some cases it may be capable of doing that, it is just a parking brake. parking brakes have neither the surface area or the power to properly slow a vehicle at speed. You also risk severely damaging your brake systems by using the parking brake at speed.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet..
One of my favourite pink Floyd songs!
sigh.
I'm not saying the s2k was better. I'm saying it stole enough market share from the nsx that the nsx got retired.
You're aware the s2000 supplanted and essentially retired the NSX?
They look plain like everything else, and the headlights are ugly. I wish cars would get some personal identity again.
Trying to compare apples to apples. Similar displacement, similar size etc.
Plenty of them still run, but they were never sold in huge volume. They are surprisingly quick, and I'm sure would blow civics and other compacts out of the water. Also, weirdest shape of seats, but most comfortable I've ever sat in.
Sounds fair. I enjoy many different automobiles, but I have a special interest in the boxy and weird. Timing adjusted by a pneumatically tilted head? Neato. Volvos drive so tightly, the turning radius is Excellent.
WRX haven't been anything to look at for years. Sounds are alright, but I'll take a 1985 Saab 9000 Turbo over 2003+ subie any day.
How pretentious of you.
Drive a mid 90's example and then get back to us.
Looks like a Jaguar rear end in that cuda.
I don't have a dog in the race, I should have mentioned I have an XJS on blocks in the garage.
More to break.
Lets see how your truck fares against the 86 on a track.
Hadn't thought of that. Good call. Let's hope it comes out easily.. Ooo! Or a removable hard top!
