Ahhhhhh I missed that!
Ahhhhhh I missed that!
At least they finally threw in a line about how the speakeasy’s cocktails were non-alcoholic. I was so confused about that at first.
Trisha Yearwood is a national treasure and she could have rolled up wearing an actual winter sleeping bag (though maybe Ezra Miller already cornered that look) and she STILL wouldn’t be gratuitous.
Yep, accurate.
It’s more fun and less boring than straight drinking. Less obnoxious than going to the club. Everyone gets to be a star for 3 minutes even if they suck. Actually, the worse you are can be even better. It’s usually nostalgic and just agenda-less FUN.
I fell victim to that maple syrup/lemon juice/cayenne pepper “cleanse” once in my 20s. I lasted three days and thought I was going to die. It took my digestive system WEEKS to recover.
Ughhhh fuck them. We have so little pure left, in the garbage fire that is 2018, LEAVE KARAOKE ALONE.
I don’t know if you saw it but Outlaw King is GOOD too. And that number makes sense. We just watched it and I was astonished by the production and fight choreography, especially considering it was a Netflix movie.
Me too! I mean I haven’t read the book so I’m just going off the trailer but when the other pageant lady mistakes her daughter and the mom is all “no, this is mine” with a hug and a smile, that was good stuff.
Ugh, I’m still so disappointed in that movie.
That trailer was so excellent I watched it twice! Danielle Macdonald is GORGEOUS. I’m pretty generous with the Netflix movies I’ll try out since it’s free (yes yes I pay monthly but compared to a redbox or Amazon prime rental that doesn’t count) but I am actually looking forward to this one now.
Guhhh I want this too.
Me too! Love that song. It is an excellent “sing in the car” song. “Glory-glory-AHHHHHHHHHHH”
I was terrified of mine for the first month but am over it now. They’re really a lot more safe than regular pressure cookers. This is my fave pulled-meat-type recipe: https://nomnompaleo.com/post/111934821818/pressure-cooker-kalua-pig
Hmmm I don’t know if those help, haha. I have lots of tattoos and used to have rainbow hair but I also love fuzzy boots and fall photos and overpriced starbucks.
I haven’t heard of that book before but that’s basically my whole weekday schtick. I do the meat in the IP, quick release, then add veggies and seal the lid (but don’t add additional time) while I get the table set and all. And I do starches twice a week so they’re always ready.
It has taken me a while to get rice down. Any recipe I find I subtract a minute from the cook time and always do quick release.
How long it takes to pressurize relates to how full it is. Most of the recipes I do only have about 1 cup of liquid and then the protein. When I make stock though and fill the pot it definitely takes a while to come to pressure.
I love my Instant Pot and I don’t care if that further cements my Basic AF status. My household has two working adults with 40 min commutes and two kiddos. The IP is a lifesaver. Especially since I am TERRIBLE about remembering to take things out in the morning to defrost.
Definitely both.
