Width is nearly always what gets me. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to  start over after marking my aida bc I thought I could guess on the width.

Allo! Ok, couple thoughts. 14 pt aida means you have 14 squares to an inch. So you could have 14 regular stitches to an inch. Therefore a font that’s 7 stitches high would be half an inch per line. And you’d want space between lines so let’s say another 3 squares worth making each line 10 squares high. 20 lines of…
