This is excellent. I eat out alone all the time when traveling for work and it never once occurred to me that solo diners might not be looked on well by the restaurant staff. Super glad to see I was right never to worry about it.
And really, I’m still going to watch it. It’s just a trailer. Maybe they’re actually doing what they’re supposed to be doing with a trailer and just showing a tiny bit of ONE part and not the whole goddamn story like other trailers do.
I WANT to be excited about this. Period dramas are my jam and this is one of my favorite books. And I don’t mind multiple adaptions, there are at least two Pride and Predjudice adaptations that I really love. But every time I see something for this one it just makes me want to re-watch the Winona Ryder one.
Ehhhh no, not necessarily. Ocean’s 11 was based on the number of thieves in it. Then 12 and 13 followed sequel formula. But Ocean’s 8 is based on thieves again so they’re not following the year formula. Meaning this could be occurring after the original movies.
While I have hardly any feelings about Iggy Azalea besides “yawn” and “ugh”, I love her hair in the lead photo. I miss having pink and blonde hair.

Ahhhh I love that! And yeah, I definitely feel the same way about craftivism. That’s how got started with cross stitching, when I made a square for a quilt that was going in front of the Supreme Court on behalf of Texas women’s abortion access. It just makes me feel like I’m doing SOMETHING, you know?
