Oh dear.
Oh dear.
I don't get why everyone is ragging on Totilo here. The frustration that comes with the difficulty is valid, and in reviewing it, he should bring it up. He still gave the game a "Yes". Stop crying onto your Gamepads. I'm not sure if they're waterproof.
Isn't it obvious? They didn't need to launch in Japan. They could launch in 2015 and the PS4 would still outsell the Xbox One in Japan. The Western markets were more critical to getting off to a good start, and as the sales numbers indicate, their strategy was sound.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Everyone's a Wally (Commodore 64)
When I read the title, "Microsoft has a fix for Xbox One users with new black screen error" I expected it to be, "Buy a 360".
I hope everyone finds new jobs and all that, but as regards Bioshock, I hope they don't make any more. I don't want another Bioshock after Infinite. There's nowhere to go.
And video gaming is the winner.
But the point of the original post was sales. That's all that matters here. The point is that Sony released the PS4 without any games that do big numbers, and they still sold 5.3 million consoles.
Like what? Killzone has never been a big seller, and by my recollection, that was by far the biggest exclusive.
I don't know about that. Sometimes when you order from a menu you don't actually know what the thing is going to look like until you get it. My partner and I go out for Japanese regularly and we're still frequently surprised when dishes turn up.
I think the most worrying thing for Microsoft is that the PS4 has launched with no big exclusive games and it's still on fire. Once the exclusives, and other big names start hitting, I wonder how that will play out.
I played FFXIII and XIII-2 and I can't really remember anything about Lightning. She's a bit of a non-entity. She, like most recent Final Fantasy characters, has no charm or particularly memorable traits, and the sooner Square Enix are finished with her and the whole XIII saga the better.
What's a den?
Oh dear.
This looks amazing.
Wait, is this multiplayer? I was really interested in this game and it might have sold me on a Wii U, but multiplayer?
I haven't had any problems with my copy on PS4, but, full disclosure, I've barely played it. In fact, I've never even played multiplayer on it. I got it with my PS4 as part of a store bundle, and I've racked up about four hours in the single player campaign since November.
I've never even wanted a Pokémon MMO. I just want a Pokémon game on a home console, with more of a story, better graphics, voices, more animated battles. All the trimmings. An MMO would just be a chore. But put a new game on the Wii U and it's an instant buy for me.
I'm really looking forward to inFamous since I liked the others, but I wish they'd fix, or just drop the karma system. It's always like, "Hey, do you wanna help this old woman across the road, or would you rather push her in front of a bus?" There's no dilemma. It might as well just come up and say "Would you like to…
