True.

If I could only choose one lens, it would be a 50mm prime. Either a creamy fast f/1.4, or a more budget friendly f/1.8.

Buuut the more expensive AF-S 50mm 1.4g is better, leading us back to what Ryan Rife noted.

Agreed. Avatar was all about the visuals, not the story.

Well, there goes my weekend.

In our hearts, it has.

Of course you do.

Yeah. I'm THAT snarky. And yeah, I've seen the actual original film. It's public domain, so you can too. It's on YouTube.

"...the original movie..."

I'd say the most important thing to learn is how aperture, shutter speed, and ISO play on each other, and how that affects the amount of light your image receives. Once you get your camera, go fully manual, and just play with these three variables as much as you can. After a week or so, then go ahead and read about

Ha!

I was in and out in probably four minutes max. I have a complete lack of exciting anecdotes to share on my voting experience today.

Did you watch the episode yet??? You're getting the sadistic Governor. David Morrissey's description above is off base. Chill out.

Everything about last episode refutes everything David Morrissey said up top regarding the Governor's nature. Particularly murdering all those soldiers.

On that second paragraph about the Governor, I think it's safe to say, "Bullfuckingshit," after what we saw this last episode.

How tall is your vehicle?

Meh, not really.

TIL The original "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" came out in 1905.

I usually just ignore it, but only because I never let people touch my own tech. Never have. They can do whatever they want with their own, no matter how much I cringe at the thought. (Eating over a keyboard? What the fucking fuck‽)

The original "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" was from 1916, not 1954. #corrections
