@dallasmay: It's a good thing your opinion has no sway on the standardized definition of what food is then.

I've been guilty of using new equipment occasionally in my university's chemistry labs to dabble in molecular gastronomy (I don't understand why some people have a problem with this term). From snapper with mojito foam, to simple cocktails. My favorite tool is undoubtedly the rotary evaporator. A few of us chemical

@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.2: Without scientific cooking, we wouldn't know the best ways to make things taste mind-numbingly awesome. Nutrient stats are but a small part of the game.

@Helis: He was a hacker in the original Matrix....and Smith was the virus in the sequels.

@blyan-reloaded: Understandable. Think of it less as getting your daily nutrients, and more of an experience. Some people go to the movies, some people enjoy museums, some people eat functional art.

@CurisosityAteMyCat: The same argument can be applied to modern American dietary habits.

@blyan-reloaded: Your opinion is unfortunate, because as gimmicky as these creations may seem, they're engineered to deliver optimal flavor and texture. The aesthetic presentation is just the icing on the cake. There's no overcompensation present.

@joe57005: Sounds like the best argument for the promotion of contraceptives I've ever heard.

@Vanilla-Terror: It's a good thing we live in an apocalyptic Hollywood sci-fi film, or else you would sound really silly.

I guess the title "Give Your Mirror a Ruined Look" was too negative. For the price you would pay for the materials to convert a perfectly good mirror into a blotchy eyesore, you could have dropped by your local thrift store and bought one that has been aged naturally, without the hassle. Think of it as aesthetic

@JakeMG: ♂ Man: Outstanding idea. I should pull my film out of the fridge.

Last I checked, the roll-up method is still superior. This method is just a complicated pain. I guess everyone has their 'special' method though. More power to you.

@Bucky Rodgers (4:19 . . . close enough): What if I sat at a computer for hours and hours coding a program to do my bidding? This isn't hacking? The term "hacking" is not as narrow as you seem to believe. It encompasses far more than just systems manipulation. Hell, MacGyver was a hacker. Anytime you utilize something

@cdimarzio: Yes, because the term "hack" is a lot more general than most people think, encompassing far more than just systems manipulation.

@Frazzlet: I suppose Ed Gein doesn't ring a bell.
