I got one of these as a gift a few years ago, they sold them - or a version of it - at the MOMA store, I've used it all over Europe and USA, and never travel without it. Mine has a built in blue LED that serves as a useful nightlight when I'm in unfamiliar hotel rooms.
I was thinking it's going to spend most of its time looking "grubby" as the hood heats up and cools down from the engine, will there ever be a time when it's the same temperature/colour all over. Nice idea though.
