Pare it down to what the engine and transmission are worth and I'd be interested as long as I could justify tossing the rest of the car.

It was my cousin's drag racing car. The only thing really "Beretta" (sorry about the prior misspelling) about it was the fiberglass body. I got to drive it off the trailer and into the shop on several occasions. Damn thing scared the crap out of me TBH, one little blip of the throttle was enough to light up the 15"…
That's..............a lot of quackers!
Chevrolet Berretta, 1,400+ HP, 7.36 @ 175.5 mph 1/4 mile....and the ignition did not fail.
That definitely gets the heavyweight award!
Now THAT'S a freaking looooonnnnnngggggg jump!
Patrick,
This is an awesome mix of technologies IMO. While I would not have used a perfect 68 Mustang myself for this purpose (yeah, I'm one of those Eleanor clone desiring nutjobs), I cannot fault him for doing so with this old 6 cylinder model. I doubt he will do much that cannot be undone by a future restoration expert…
It appears that most commenters didn't like the way the guy acted during the race and while I cannot disagree with them, I'd still like to know the build specs on that bike.
Look at those velocity stacks! Trumpets of speed...
Don't be silly. it's the Miata of course.
Sorry, but that is the most lethargic car killing I have ever seen.
