Dog carrier maybe?
That's my ride of choice right here. Second story seats FTW!
Texas, Hell Yeah!
In that case you must have had some really thin, substandard steel wheels. I've seen steel wheels bent so bad that they looked like they belonged on a clown car and none of them ever disintegrated like that from being driven hard. Of course thinking about it, my experience is not with foreign cars/wheels (not dissing…
Me too. Living on a farm when I was younger, we burned up the gravel roads and pastures in cars much heavier than that one and never once had a wheel fail/come off like that.
Looked to me like the wheel was wobbling almost from the beginning. I think he used the wrong lug nuts and they did not match up to the beveled seat on the wheel correctly.
It would be refreshing to see it done right for a change.
Hahaha! So they make their potholes serve double duty as speed bumps to eh?
So, is "spontaneous GM combustion" going to be the next thing now?
This is so "normal" in some cities in the US. Five city employees standing around just looking at a problem instead of doing anything to fix or repair the problem.
I know about and have some experience welding aluminum and I understand that it will stretch easier in some cases, but the same tools used to "shrink" steel should work on aluminum as well. Honestly I never found aluminum to stretch much worse than steel in most cases of impacts I have observed. As far as taking…
Karl Henkel breaks it down pointing out that shops are going to be spending serious coin to get ready for this new world of aluminum repair, which requires special equipment and training.

Corny & cheeseball or not, that was entertaining. Thanks!

I think you've pretty much hit that nail square on the head.
Sorry Torch, I can't go along with you on this one.
