Buyers of the convertible version went on to purchase the Nissan CrossCabriolet years later.

Boom. Meets all the criteria. FiST is the answer.

They did have a sunroof option, I have one - with Recaro’s. Backup camera was 19's only.

Fiesta ST. Selling close to original MSRP now, but still under 20k. Fits the bill, though I’m not sure if they came with a sunroof. Mine didn’t, and I wouldn’t want one with a sunroof anyway.

David Tracy got away with this for years - right under our noses.

This one looks too good for DT.

The particularly low landing

Sweet Jesus in heaven. I have no words.

The recalls were so many and so convoluted that I bet tons of people missed the recall.  My 06 ram was two separate recalls like a year apart, one for the drivers side and another for the passenger.  I imagine a lot of people saw the notice and said, I already did that not realizing it was the other side.

We had an Acura RDX that was recalled, and my wife was pregnant at the time. Acura could not give us a date and she said well I don’t feel safe driving the car, so they ended up providing us a rental. Took almost a month, but they got the airbag in finally, probably cost them a whole lot.

Initially when I called my Audi dealer they told me it would be a 9 month wait. After a few back-and-forths with the dealer, they finally agreed to get it done sooner than that. Just had mine replaced last month, fell much better about driving around now.

‘06 Honda Element - both airbags were recalled and replaced by the dealership (not the one that sold the car to me). It would really be helpful to know if these were replaced or if the driver ignored the recall. I drive around 500 miles per week in central Florida and prefer not to rely totally on my skill, defensive

My 2011 fusion had the recall done for the passenger air bag, then I got a letter for the driver one saying they were waiting on parts and I’d get a follow up letter. That was over a year ago. Ford expects me to drive my potentially deadly vehicle for this long?

I had one of those in my 2006 Chrysler 300 and never got it done, partially because the 2 times I tried they didn’t even have them in stock to replace. Totaled it October 2020, didn’t get killed by it lol.

So you’re saying there’s a chance.

It’s even more surprising because vehicles registered in hot and humid states like Florida were first in line for new airbags. The Takata recalls began 6 years ago and the 2006 Ranger is within the scope of the recall.

Get the recalls done people. Your odds of dying, though small, are much better [worse?] than winning the Mega Millions or PowerBall.
