I’m sorry your Google is broken.

Whatever happens, remember that the point of first aid is to be a first step, not the only step.

You’d think so, but I have a friend (ex-combat medic) who was fired from his job at a high-risk children’s facility about a decade ago for tourniqueting a kid who’d sliced their wrist open on a broken window because tourniquets were basically out of vogue at that point.  Saved the kid’s life, but lost his job for it.

No, I think this is cross-posted from The Inventory, so they can sell you things you don’t need and get a kickback for it. Real Jalopnik writers wouldn’t recommend that silly drain plug wrench or shy away from the idea of doing an oil change yourself.

The ride height makes it easy, but that filter’s still a knuckle-burning PITA buried up in the exhaust manifold, and there’s really no way to do it that doesn’t coat your hand/arm/wrench in oil when it breaks the seal (2010-2015, anyway).

If you’re just doing this because you’ve got nothing better to do, let’s talk about stripping the process down a little bit.

Drove a number of late-70s Ford F250s back in the day and I was always a fan of the foot-stomp headlight dimmer switch.

One does not look a free box of quality CAT5e in the mouth!

Damn true.

With the rapid uptake of Zoom as a main video-chat-provider-of-choice for schools, churches and private folks across the coutry, I’m going to be really REALLY surprised if we don’t start seeing a deluge of internet trolls “dialing in” to random Zoom meeting URLs to be jerks at people.

How much do you hate yourself? I have two of these and I wish they were still under warranty so I could chuck them against the wall a few times rather than have to try to manage the piddly-ass internal storage.

I... I can’t even.

Solid “recommend” with one possible caveat.

Cannot recommend this product - the design is pretty flawed and it’s virtually impossible to keep the stands level with any kind of weight on them.

Woo! Just in time for me to cancel the lower-powered one I’d ordered for a gift at the same price!

I dunno. Unless you can find a dimmable strand (maybe some of those fairy lights over on Kinja Deals), I’d think that even a single strand of regulra LED lights is going to be incredibly bright in a bedroom overnight.

It’s a very pretty watch, and the strap idea is pretty nice. I own one of the straps, even.
