My local hospital (a UCHealth acquisition) was one of the first in the chain to implement this as Policy (in fact, I think it was spearheaded by one particular nurse from our hospital). My daughter had no complaints when she got her first bath in this fashion, so I’ll give this advice a solid “thumbs-up”.

I have a 2012 Outback with the CVT. It is pretty decent for what the car is. It’s smooth, it doesn’t herky-jerky downshifts heading up hills, the paddle shifters let you pretend you’ve got a manual transmission for going down hills. No, there’s not a great satisfying feel when you really tromp on the pedal, but it’s a

As a buyer with an Outback (and now more kids than I can get across the backseat without buying $700 carseats with funny names) I really want to see Subaru make a minivan.

I regret that I have but one star to give to this post.

Two flaky volume knobs for me (out of 2 units over several years). Design flaw somewhere for sure.

From the Google:

Oh, vaping. One more obnoxious thing I’ve had to add to my rental lease’s “don’t do this” list because I don’t want to spend your entire security deposit trying to get that crap out of the carpeting, walls, ceiling, etc.

This is the kind of advice that REALLY should have been in the main list. Death from lightning strikes kind of sucks, as does mild hypothermia when the torrential afternoon rain hits and the temperature drops 40 degrees in 10 minutes.

Sweat + airflow = evaporative cooling. That’s WHY you sweat (until you get dehydrated and die).

I have a couple of double-gang electrical box covers in my bags - very low-profile, but very strong (and cheap enough I’m not gonna cry if I ride off without one).

Learned that lesson on my second bike. My first one was a dual-sport with wide handlebars that gave me some mechanical advantage. My second one was a sport-tour bike with (1) a lot more weight and (2) significantly narrower bars. On the first or second low-speed maneuver, yoop - there went the bars and down went the

A most spanking deal. Safety razors aren’t cheaper “in the long run”, they’re basically cheaper from the get-go. $13 might get you a Mach 3 (or whatever the equivalent is these days) and 6 or 10 blades that’ll last a week or two each.

Amen. There’s a lot of times where I need to run out the door with a very flat phone battery and just want to leave the phone charging while I fill up the gas tank, run in to the store, etc.

Depends entirely on how late you are for your flight.

I really like the idea of those “hilltops” but $115 is a little steep for 5 funky looking buckets with a rubber rim.

I bought a black ‘04 ION sedan from the dealer. At that point the trim color accent choices were “black” or “kind of black”.

“Know your enemy”.

Perspective which that photo does not provide: your average adult moose is about 2 meters tall at the shoulder. Adult females can get up to ~350kg; males can double that.

That is on my personal list of tried-but-failed experiments.

10 years on a well-maintained set of leathers isn’t a big deal, but leathers that have been actively ignored in a box outside for 6 years is a different story.
